Cotton bud stuck in my dog's ear.?

I was cleaning my dog's ears and a cotton bud got stuck in there, i cant see. My parents think im making a big deal and they wont take her to the vet, i dont have money, i dont drive, i feel very angry for not bein able to do much... My parents want me to try to stick something down my dog's ear and to get it out..of course i dont want to do that, im scared i will make it worse... they even said to put crazy glue in a swab and to try to get it down his ear, so that the cotton bud glues to it.. WTF!! I got so mad and told them to test that on their own ears...and they yelled at me and said there was nothing they can do.. I hate them...they claim to love my dog so much, yet when he gets sick they wont do anything and i get blamed for it.. i love my dog, i dont want to get rid of it so please dont advice me to offer it for adoption.. I just want to know what would you do in my case?? And if this has ever happened to your dog, and how did you get the cotton bud out.. Please
