Can someone plz tell me if these headphones are good?

Actually, yes. Shure make great earphones and microphones. They make decent headphones (to us snobs anyway), but the thirteen year old will find them to be more than good enough, and they're good quality for the price. The Phillips are more comfortable for longer wearing sessions, but probably have a badly colored (equalized) soundstage and have crappier frequency response... without even looking at the specs. (Dear person below me, Skull Candy make headphones for the masses that look good but are utter sh*t)
