Cotton swab stuck in ear?

I was cleaning my ear with a cotton swab and the cotton didn't come out, I tried removing it with tweezers and it seems to have pushed it in even more and now it's not visible. Do I need to see a specialist or is my doctor able to get it out? It doesn't hurt but I can tell the cotton is still in there.
