Does giving bone morrow hurt? How long does it take to recover?

I registered at Get Swabbed.org and got my swab kit in the mail yesterday. I got swabbed and put it in the mail, yay me! Lol I read up on it but I want to here it from a real Person who knows. I'm a little scared but happy I did it.
