How to get from MCO airport to Kennedy space center?

A friend and I are flying into MCO and staying at a hotel near the airport. The next day we want to watch the space shuttle launch but have no way of getting anywhere near the launch area. We are both very tight on money and would like a cheap option if at all possible. Cab is not an option as it would be way too expensive. Is Greyhound an option?
