I can get my audio to work on my TV by using my Component AV Cable, but nothing is showing on the screen?

i think you bought the wrong cable. the Denon does not accept component video so that is why it fails to make a picture. the Denon does accept USB, that is the cable you should use to connect to the iPhone or iPod.
