Let's take a minute and analyse our Saturn shall we?

Well that makes sense seeing that Saturn is where we're likely to feel restricted in our expression until we "grow up" and "mature" (all Saturn phrases) in some way. For example, Saturn conjuncts my Sun in Sagittarius natally. I don't identify strongly with my Sagittarius energy. But when I'm self-reliant, responsible, and don't let depressing realities get to me (Saturn qualitities) I feel like my Sun is more freely expressed and I'm 'deserving' of those Sagittarius experiences I need to feel happy. It's like you free yourself of Saturn's negative influence if you take steps to develop the positives. Saturn is, after all, the ruler of Karma aka getting what you deserve. So in my own personal experience I think for materially security in this world you need to play by Saturn's rules, or fight it and deal with the negative influence of Saturn.
